Pakistan's ISI, LeT and Mumbai Underworld sponsored Terror Attack in Mumbai?

Breaking News! According to media reports, the worst-ever terror attack in India that struck Mumbai on Wednesday night, was reportedly sponsored by Pakistan's ISI, Lashakr-e-Taiba and the Mumbai Underworld. It was a well-planned attack and the conspiracy was hatched around months ago. The terrorists also did a recce in those areas, where they carried out their attacks. where The role of LeT and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is suspected in the terror attack in Mumbai.

The objective of the attack was to cause maximum damage to Indian establishments, eliminate top Indian cops and prolong the crisis as long as possible, and the terrorists succeeded in their goal. Unfortunately, our intelligence agencies both on land and sea, failed to get even a slightest hint of this well-coordinate attack, even though there was a definite threat of terror attack in Mumbai.

The Mumbai Underworld played an important role in providing arms, ammunition and all logistic support to the terrorists, who used the motorboats given by the underworld to reach Mumbai. The commando training to the LeT terrorists, who carried out terror attack in Mumbai, was reportedly given by the Pakistan's ISI at one of their training centres. It could be possible that the Pakistani government was kept in dark about the entire operations.

The terrorists stayed in Nariman House, Taj Hotel and Oberoi Hotel. They planned everything and bought provisions to survive during the battle. The terrorists were reportedly supplied huge quantity of arms and ammunition by the local underworld criminals on the direction of their boss across the border. They carried out their attack in a coordinated way, took hostages on key strategic locations, made life difficult for the cops and took them by surprise.

The terrorists played havoc in Mumbai by killing 132 people and injuring over 300. 14 policemen including ATS Chief Hemant Karkare, DIG Ashok Kamte and Encounter Specialist Vijay Salaskar. Hemant Karkare's death was a major setback to Mumbai ATS and to the security agencies across the country. It was a big loss.

As planned earlier, the terrorists have managed to prolong the battle with the security forces and commandos. The battle is still on at Nariman House, Taj and Oberoi even after 37 hours. Nine terrorists have been killed so far, while two terrorists were arrested. One NSG Commando of the rank of a Major, was also killed in the encounter.

From the satellite phone recovered from a terrorist and the unexploded grenade, it was confirmed that the direction to carry out attacks in Mumbai came directly from Karachi, Pakistan.

Once the operations are over and status quo is restored, it would be interesting to see what action the UPA government will take to counter such terror attacks and bring the perpetrators of this crime to book. India's stand vis-a-vis Pakistan would be crucial in the wake of such a daring attack launched on India from the Pakistani soil, allegedly at the behest of Pakistani Army and terrorist organization/underworld don located in Pakistan.
