PM Dr. Manmohan Singh: "We will enact a Tough Terror Law"

Breaking News! Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh addressed the nation and condoled the death of innocent citizens and brave police officers who were killed in last night's terrorist attack in Mumbai. Dr. Manmohan Singh stressed on the need for a federal agency to tackle terror. For the first time, Manmohan Singh said, "We will enact a tough terror law to tackle such incidents". Until now, the UPA Government has been against any new terror law, just because it wanted to justify the repealing of POTA, passed by the BJP-led NDA government.

The PM made it clear that it was cross-border terrorism and said India would take up this issue with the neighbour (Pakistan), as their soil is being used to launch such attacks. Dr. Manmohan Singh saluted the brave police officers who laid their lives while serving the nation. He also paid homage to former Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare, who became a martyr last night.

The PM said the safety and security of the citizens are of paramount importance at this moment and India will hit back hard at the terrorists and their patrons. The guilty will be punished with an iron hand, said the Prime Minister. The speech ended and focus is back again on the fierce encounters taking place in Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel and Nariman House.

This is not the time to talk to the neighbor and please stop talking "foreign hand". It is clearly Pakistan. an attack is very much required. we are keeping low every time be it Kargil or blasts in many cities of India. it is high time that we react and the reaction should only come in the face of WAR AGAINST PAKISTAN
