TV Workers end Strike, New Serials to be aired soon

Breaking News! The three-week long strike of TV workers finally ended after an agreement reached between the producers and workers. The TV workers ended their strike after several rounds of negotiations with the producers. They were demanding better pay and conducive working hours.

It is not immediately known whether the producers acceded to the demands of TV workers, but the end of impasse brought huge relief to millions of TV viewers in India, who were fed up with watching stale and repetition shows. Barring the Big Boss 2 on Colours, all other TV serials and reality shows were forced to show old episodes to their viewers because of this strike.

Production of new episodes for all serials will begin today with immediate effect. The producers have already lost millions of rupees due to this impasse. However, according to latest reports, around 1,200 sound engineers and sound technicians have refused to join work, saying their salaries have been reduced by 7.5% after fresh negotiations between the TV workers and producers.
