Lalu Yadav's brother-in-law Sadhu Yadav joins Congress

New Delhi (24/7 News Network): Upset over the seat sharing agreement between the RJD and LJP in Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav's brother-in-law Sadhu Yadav lashed out at the RJD supremo and joined the Congress today. He announced his decision to join the Congress at a press conference with Congress leaders Sushil Kumar Shinde and Iqbal Singh.

Earlier, RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan reached a seat sharing agreement in Bihar. While RJD will contest from 25 seats, the LJP will contest from 12 seats, leaving just 3 seats to the Congress. The Congress Party rejected the agreement and may contest from 20 seats in the state alone.

Sadhu Yadav, a sitting MP from Gopalganj constituency in Bihar, had wanted a ticket from Bettiah seat. However, the seat was given to the LJP. Prakash Jha will be the LJP candidate from Bettiah. Sadhu has decided to contest from two seats - Bettiah and Motihari.
