2009 Election Results: Congress-led UPA set to form Government at Centre
24/7 News Network: Breaking News! The Congress-led UPA is all set to form the next government at the Centre, even without the Left support. Congress is marching ahead in most states, while the BJP has suffered huge losses everywhere. Out of 542 seats, where trends are available, Congress-led UPA is leading in 250 seats, while BJP-led UPA is leading in just 158 seats. The Third Front is leading in 90 seats. DMK-Congress alliance is leading in Tamil Nadu, while Congress is leading in Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Kerala and Maharashtra.In Uttar Pradesh, Congress has taken a lead over other other parties. Congress, BSP and Samajwadi Party are at part in Uttar Pradesh. BJP is doing well in Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal, but not on expected lines in Madhya Pradesh. It may concede 12-13 seats to the Congress.
In West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress is leading over the CPM and is set to win at least 15 seats out of 42. The Left Front may still win maximum seats in West Bengal, with a heavy loss as compared to 2004 general elections. BJP is surprising leading in two seats in West Bengal.
In Karnataka, BJP is leading, but Congress and JD(S) are also doing well. Congress swept the results in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. The BJP-JD(U) combine is all set to sweep Bihar, as they are leading in 31 of 42 seats.
In Orissa, ruling BJD has taken a clear edge over other parties. BJD is leading in 11 out of 18 Lok Sabha seats, where trends are available. Congress is leading in 5 seats, while the BJP is leading in one seat. In Orissa Assembly, BJD is leading in 95 out of 147 seats. Congress is leading in 32 seats, while BJP is leading in just 12 seats.
In Tamil Nadu, DMK is doing much better than AIADMK and Congress is also gaining in the state. Overall, Congress is leading in 172 seats, while the BJP is leading in just 120 seats. BSP is leading in 20 seats.

It is a time to celebrate as the Congress races ahead. All the communal minded forces have been defeated. This is a real good lesson for those who instigate the nation in the name of religion. They should realise that India has come of age and will never tolerate rigid fundamentalism.

Its Indeed a win to UPA governement, but the i pray to god that the save India from Cabinet. Congress had made completely begger to india since last hundread years. All the members from top to bottom are involved in curruption. I do not know how the people can judge and their method? From this result we come to know that almost all hindus(MAJORITY) are hesitating hinduthuwa.Our country is secular state country. Here preference is for peace,love,humanity and unity. So we should help each other to develope our India.thats why this super result has been got in this election.
