2009 Lok Sabha Elections Results: Partywise Standings

24/7 News Network: With all results for the 2009 Lok Sabha Elections have been declared now, the Congress led the pack with 206 seats. The party won over 200 seats in Lok Sabha for the first time after 1991. The BJP finished distant second with 116 seats. The Congress-led UPA won 262 seats, while the BJP-led NDA won 159 seats. The Third Front managed to win just 80 seats. We have listed the partywise standings both at national and state level.
