Facebook launched in 5 Indian Regional Languages

24/7 News Network: One of the leading social networking website, Facebook has launched some cool features for its Indian users to woo the young audience, who have become a fan of social networking websites these days. Facebook, which is already available in Hindi, is now launched in five more Indian languages - Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Punjabi.

"Target India" seems the new mantra of Facebook, which has gained highest-ever popularity by any social networking website over the last 12 months. Facebook knows that it has a huge stake in India and just trying to take advantage of the Internet mania among the younger generation in the country.

In India, Facebook stands second after the most popular social networking website Orkut. Majority of users in the United States and Canada prefer Facebook as their first preference, when it comes to choosing a social networking site. Facebook is now aiming to target Asian market and India in particular.
