Team India leaves for England to play Twenty20 World Cup
24/7 News Network: A strong and confident Team India, under the leadership of skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, left for England today. Dhoni expressed confidence that India would be able to repeat the magic and retain the Twenty20 World Cup. "We have a team with outstanding talent. We can defend our title, if we play to our potential", said Dhoni before he boarded the flight.India had won the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa in 2007, under Dhoni's captaincy. The 2009 Twenty20 World Cup will be played from June 5-21 across three venues in England.
Meanwhile, skipper MS Dhoni confirmed that Zaheer Khan is not fully fit and may miss out 2/3 matches in the beginning. India would be banking on the pacers like Ishant Sharma and RP Singh in the seamer-friendly conditions in England. India and Pakistan will play a friendly match on June 3.

Mahendra Dhoni (Captain), Virender Sehwag (Vice Captain), Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Praveen Kumar, Zaheer Khan, Rudra Pratap Singh, Pragyan Ojha and Ishant Sharma.

It,s hard to predict in 20-20 as who will emerged as a winner.We have a team wherein everyone is a match winner but as we have seen in IPL the team that jels easily and are motivated enough will win.......Also the way indian media and public scrutunize indian team performance it adds to lot of pressure and takes the enjoyment that playing any game gets.....What happened with us and pak in last one day world .......All players succummed to pressure...however last time in 20-20 there were nil expectation and less presuure....something which is not dis time.........let see how Dhoni faces this...it will be a test of his character also
