Air France Flight 447 Chief Pilot's Body identified
Paris: The body of the Pilot of ill-fated AF-447 plane, which crashed over the Atlantic on May 31, was identified by the authorities. Out of the 50 dead bodies retrieved from the crash site, two bodies were identified as the Chief Pilot and Flight Attendant. The AF 447 had 228 passengers and crew on board, but only 50 bodies could be found so far.The Air France authorities confirmed that bodies of the Pilot and a male Flight Attendant were identified, but they did not release their names. However, other sources identified the Pilot as Marc Dubois.
The search operation is still on for the bodies and black boxes of the Airbus A330 AF 447, which crashed over the Atlantic on May 31, while going from Rio de Janerio to Paris. Helicopters, Fighter Aircrafts, Ships and Submarines have been pressed into the service.
The cause of the plane crash is not yet known. The search personnel are trying to find out the black boxes, which may shed some light on the mysterious circumstances, in which the plane crashed into pieces.
