Tata rolls out Docomo GSM Service in Orissa
Bhubaneswar: The Tata Teleservices rolled out its new 'Tata Docomo' GSM service in Orissa yesterday. The company is hopeful of providing a simple solution to the customers with multiple price plans on affordable prices. While rolling out the 'Tata Docomo' GSM service in Bhubaneswar, Anil Sardana, MD of Tata Teleservices Ltd, said that his company has fulfilled the promises made to redefine the telecom experience for the customers.Tata has partnered with NTT Docomo to provide the Tata Docomo GSM service in Orissa. Mr. Sardana expressed confidence that the new service will provide unique technological experience to the subscribers.
The Tata Docomo GSM Service will charge the customers on the basis of "pay as you go" formula. The call charge will be one paisa per second for all voice calls across India. There will be no hidden costs attached to it, assured Mr. Sardana.
Currently, the Tata Docomo GSM service is functional in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Orissa and covers 20,847 towns and villages in these states. They included 4,205 km of National Highway and 3837 km of rail route. The company is planning to launch the service across India by the end of current fiscal.
