Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad denies any Swine Flu death in India
New Delhi: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad denied the reports that a Swine Flu patient died in Kerala. Azad said that no Swine Flu death has been reported in India so far. He made the statement during a discussion under Rule 193 in Lok Sabha yesterday. Azad also clarified that the 51-year-old man, who died in Kollam in Kerala on Wednesday, had tested negative for the Influenza A H1N1. The person, who died on July 1, has been a diabetic for 30 years. He was suffering from hypertension, coronary artery disease and dyslipedemia. He reached in India on June 12 via UK and Dubai.
