Yahoo rolls out Yahoo Meme Micro Blogging Service

Mumbai: Twitter has a new competitor now. Yahoo has rolled out its new 'Yahoo Meme' micro blogging service in English, which was earlier launched in Spanish and Portugese. Yahoo Meme is available in an invite mode, hence it will be possible for a user to create the account only after receiving invitation. Yahoo has decided to close down its SpotM service in India, which was launched last year.

The Yahoo Meme service provide the users a blank blog for micro-sharing text, photos, videos and music. The site will be similar to Twitter and Tumblr. The Yahoo Meme service is available at http://meme.yahoo.com/ .
