Another Farmer commits suicide in Orissa, Toll goes up to 6
Bhubaneswar: Breaking News! Another farmer committed suicide in Orissa's Nabarangpur district, taking the death toll to six in Orissa. This is alarming for the state government, as six farmers have committed suicide in the last 3 months. This is the first farmer suicide case in South Orissa, as all other cases were reported from Western Orissa.
The deceased was identified as Sunil Sutar from Murtuma village near Umerkote. He had allegedly a debt of Rs 40,000 and could not repay the loan due to crop failure. He consumed poison to end his life. The District Administration hasn't issued any statement on Sunil Sutar's death.
