Panamanian Ship with 24 Indians hijacked near Seychelles
New Delhi: Breaking News! A Panamanian cargo vessel with 24 Indian crew on board, was hijacked near Seychelles. The cargo ship M.V. Al Khaliq has 26 crew members. It was travelling from Novorosskysk in Russia to Mombasa in Kenya. The ship was hijacked 720 nautical miles east of Mombasa.
The ship is loaded with over 35,000 metric tonnes of wheat. At least three pirates are reportedly involved in the hijack. The Indian Coast Guard has been alerted about the latest hijack.
