Seven die of Swine Flu, as India Toll goes up to 316

New Delhi: As many as seven people died of Swine Flu across the country on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 316. Four people died in Karnataka, while two deaths were reported from Delhi. The seventh Swine Flu death was reported from Andhra Pradesh, where the death toll reached 34. Karnataka has accounted for 96 A H1N1 deaths so far, while Delhi reported 13 Swine Flu casualties.

At least 197 fresh cases of Swine Flu were reported in India, taking the total number of affected people to 10,233. 58 new cases were reported from Delhi, while Maharashtra reported 46 new cases of Swine Flu. The other fresh cases were reported from Tamil Nadu (25), Karnataka (13), Kerala (13), Haryana (12), Chandigarh (12), Andhra Pradesh (9) and Goa (1).
