201 Swine Flu deaths reported in Mahrashtra, India Toll goes up to 473

New Delhi: Breaking News! Eight more people died of Swine Flu on Saturday, taking the death toll in India to 473. Out of the eight deaths, four were reported from Maharashtra. Four other deaths were reported from Delhi, Kerala, Rajasthan and Chandigarh. Maharashtra has now accounted for 201 Swine Flu deaths - highest in the country.

77 new cases of Swine Flu were reported across the country, taking the number of affected people to 13,861. While Mahrashtra leads the Swine Flu death toll in the country with 201 deaths, Karnataka is on the second spot with 117 deaths, followed by Andhra Pradesh (49), Gujarat (40), Delhi (17) and Kerala (15).

Out of the 77 new cases, 19 were from Tamil Nadu and 18 from Kerala. Delhi reported 12 new cases of Swine Flu on Saturday, followed by Maharashtra (9), Karnataka (7) and Gujarat (4).
