5 killed, 25 injured, as 3 Blasts rock Nalbari in Assam

Guwahati: Breaking News! At least three powerful blasts rocked Nalbari district in Assam this morning. The blasts occurred at 10:15 AM. At least 5 people were killed and 25 others injured due to the blasts. Two blasts were triggered in front of Sadar Police Station and the third blast occurred in a market.

The explosives were reportedly planted on a bicycle. The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) is suspected to be behind the blasts. The security forces have cordoned off the area. The injured are being rushed to the hospitals.

Nalbari district is about 70 km west of Assam's main city of Guwahati. The nature of the blasts is immediately not known. Further details are awaited.
