Air India Airhostess Komal Singh not molested, says NCW
New Delhi: Breaking News! In a significant development, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has ruled that Air India airhostess Komal Singh was not molested during the mid-air scuffle aboard the Sharjah-New Delhi flight IC 884 in October 2009. The NCW report vindicated the stand taken by Air India on this matter.
The NCW said that there was a physical fight and Komal and her friend were pushed by the pilots. And, both parties were equally responsible for what happened. There was no case of molestation, said the NCW report.
Komal had claimed that the two pilots had molested her and even filed a written complaint with the National Commission for Women (NCW). A five-member NCW panel probed the case.
