Airtel slashes Roaming Rate by 60% to 60 paise Per Minute

New Delhi: Breaking News! In a significant step to woo its customers, the Bharti Airtel has come up with a new tariff plan, which will slash the roaming rate by 60 percent. The new plan will enable the customers to call at 60 paise per minute within the network and 80 paise per minute outside the network.

The Airtel customers will have to pay Rs 98 to avail the lower roaming tariffs. Reliance is already offering a lower roaming rate of 50 paise per minute on all networks. Other service providers such as BSNL, Idea and Vodafone are expected to come up with similar roaming plans to beat the competition.
