Australia on Top in Hyderabad ODI, as Watson, Marsh make Fifties

Hyderabad: Breaking News! Australia is on top in the 5th ODI in Hyderabad, as the openers Shane Watson and Shaun Marsh have added 145 runs for the first wicket. Indian bowlers were mauled by the Australian openers and failed to make any impact. Shane Watson, who was on fire today, finally got out for 93 off 89 balls. Harbhajan took the wicket.

Earlier, Australia won the crucial toss and elected to bat first. India made two changes to the playing XI, by bringing in Munaf Patel in place of Ishant Sharma and Gautam Gambhir in place of Virat Kohli. Australia brought in Adam Voges and Clint McKay in today's game.

Australian openers made good use of the conditions in Hyderabad, which is considered as a heaven for batsmen. Shane Watson and Shaun Marsh did not give any chance to the Indian bowlers to fight back. Australia were 146/1 in 26 overs when reports last came in. Shaun Marsh hit his 6th ODI fifty. He was batting on 50.
