BSP leads in Uttar Pradesh By-polls, Trinamool routs Left in West Bengal

New Delhi: Breaking News! Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is leading in 8 out of 11 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, where by-elections were held recently. The Samajwadi Party is leading in two seats. In West Bengal, Left is heading for a rout, as Trinamool Congress is leading in 5 out of 10 seats. Congress is leading in 2 seats.

In Uttar Pradesh, BJP is heading for a rout. BSP is leading in 8 out of 11 seats as per the early trends, while Samajwadi Party is leading in 2 seats. Even in the Firozabad Lok Sabha seat, Congress candidate Raj Babbar is leading over Samajwadi Party candidate and Mulayam Singh Yadav's daughter-in-law, Dimple Yadav.

Mamata Banerjee is on a high in West Bengal. The Trinamool Congress-Congress alliance is leading in 7 out of 10 seats, while the Left is leading in just 2 seats. In Kerala, Congress is leading in all three seats, while Left is drawing a blank.

There are mixed results in Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. Both Congress and BJP are leading in one seat each in Rajasthan, while both parties share one seat each in Himachal Pradesh too. In Chhattisgarh, Congress won the Vaishali Nagar assembly seat.
