David Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana were in Mumbai before 26/11
Mumbai: Breaking News! In a sensational disclosure, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said that the arrested US citizen David Coleman Headley was running a dummy Visa Facilitation Agency in Mumbai during 2006-08. The Mumbai Police is now probing whether Headley and his associate Tahawwur Hussain Rana had any links to 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks or not.
The role of Headley and Rana in the 26/11 terror attacks cannot be ruled out, said Mumbai's Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria. Headley had visited Mumbai several times before the terror attacks.
According to reports, Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana were in Mumbai in late November 2008 and left only a few days before the 26/11 terror attacks. The FBI confirmed that both Headley and Rana were in touch with certain LeT operatives.
