Jessica Lal Murder accused Manu Sharma surrenders, returns to Tihar Jail

New Delhi: Breaking News! After being grilled by the electronic and print media over the alleged violation of parole rules by Jessica Lal murder accused Manu Sharma, the Delhi Police asked Sharma to surrender. Manu Sharma surrendered before the Delhi Police a short while ago and returned to jail, even as his parole was due to end on November 22.

Manu Sharma lied to the court that he wanted to be released on parole so that he could look after her "ailing" mother. However, his mother looked fit and fine while addressing a press conference on Saturday. In addition, Manu Sharma was spotted at a pub in New Delhi, which was a violation of parole conditions.

Manu Sharma surrendered at Tihar Jail at 11:30 AM today. It was certain that his parole would be revoked, as he violated the conditions. However, he chose to avoid the forcible arrest and surrendered on his own.
