Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa breaks down on Suvarna TV
New Delhi: Breaking News! Cornered by own party MLAs, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa broke down, while giving an interview to Kannada TV Channel "Suvarna". Yeddyurappa blamed the dissidents led by Reddy brothers for playing cheap politics instead of focusing on relief work in flood-ravaged districts of the state.
"I apologise to the flood victims. When they are facing so many problems, we should not have wasted time on this crisis", said Yeddyurappa. He was at pain to note that they people whom he trusted the most, did not support him.
"I regret for bowing down to the Reddys. People of Karnataka won't forgive me", said a tearful Yeddyurappa, when asked about the compromise formula being worked out to pacify the rebels.
The political crisis in Karntaka still remains, as the Reddy brothers are still adamant on their demand for the removal of the Chief Ministers. They are camping at Hyderabad with an unspecified number of BJP MLAs. Yeddyurappa and Central leaders hinted that the crisis will be over by tonight.
