Karnataka Crisis deepens, as Janardhan Reddy refuses to meet Yeddyurappa

Bangalore: The political crisis in Karnataka has deepened further, as state Tourism Minister and rebel leader G Janardhan Reddy has refused to meet Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and said that he is hopeful that BJP High Command will listen to them. Janardhan Reddy and his elder brother Revenue Minister G Karunakara Reddy are leading a pack of dissidents against BS Yeddyurappa.

Earlier, BS Yeddyurappa held discussions with top BJP leaders in New Delhi and said he wanted to talk to the Bellary brothers to end the stalemate in the state. However, Reddy brothers are not obliging to him. They are adamant on Yeddyurappa's removal as the Chief Minister, which may not go well with the BJP's Central leadership.

The Karnataka CM is making a last-ditch effort to reach out the Reddy brothers and placate them to end the impasse. However, if the situation continues like this, the BJP leadership will forced to take strong action against the rebels.
