Media is not God, says Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray
Mumbai: Breaking News! Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray defended the attack on IBN-Lokmat office in Mumbai by his Shiv Sainiks, saying media is not god and it cannot malign someone just for the sake of writing. He also accused the media of blowing the Sachin episode out of proportion by twisting his comments.
Bal Thackeray accused the media of false and biased reporting and justified the attacks as a spontaneous reaction of Marathi anger. He also said that a section of the media is being influenced by corrupt politicians and other influential people.

How funny that a delusional pseudo-godman buffoon fascist who falsely fancies himself to be a God to the Maharashtrians should shriek that that the media, of which he was once part, is not God. What a complete joker! - Indians of all hues should beat the living daylights out of this joker and his equally deranged nephew, and put them both in the hospital.
Nobody claims that the media is God. But it is evident that Bal Thackeray thinks that he is God, that he can go around destroying private and public property with complete disregard for the rule of law (and justify it on top of that), and that he can make immigration and emigration rules pertaining to Mumbai as if it were a separate, sovereign country from the rest of India. His behavior is pathetic and disgusting.

Media is no GOD - Correct
Media is biased - Most of the time.
Media should be accountable and responsible - No body denies.
But at the same time, we do condemn these kind of destruction of public/private property, human rights violation and all kind of gundagardi...
Its India meri jaan, and Maharashtra is an integral part of India, It's tax-payer money you are destroying. It is indian comman man [Including Marathi] who had suffered due to your Gunda Gardi. No body will get anything out of it, but just an unstability will surround us. Specially all the sufferer will be from Maharashtra.
