Number of Dengue Cases goes up to 627 in Delhi

New Delhi: Breaking News! The number of dengue cases in Delhi has gone up to 627, with 42 fresh cases reported from the national capital on Tuesday. At least 1,335 people were challaned by the MCD for failing to meet the dengue guidelines despite several warnings. They included some contractors of the Commonwealth Games projects.

Although the impact of dengue is lower than the previous year, the rising cases are still a concern for the Delhi government due to winter season. Contractors of projects at Khanna Stadium, Khel Gaon and Commonwealth Games Village, were challaned after breeding of dengue mosquitoes was detected at their sites.
