Sachin Tendulkar completes 17,000 in ODI Cricket

Hyderabad: Breaking News! Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar became the first batsman in the world to complete 17,000 in ODI cricket. Sachin achieved this glorious feat during the 5th ODI against Australia in Hyderabad. The entire stadium erupted into joy and celebration, when Sachin reached the milestone. Fans across India too celebrated Sachin's record.

Sachin has played 435 ODI matches so far. He has hit 44 hundreds and 91 fifties. His highest individual score remains 186*. Sachin made his debut in 1989-90 against Pakistan. Sri Lanka's Santh Jayasuriya is on second spot with 13,377 runs.

Chasing a victory target of 351, India were 66/1 in 8.5 overs, when reports last came in. Sehwag was out for 38 off 30 balls. Sachin Tendulkar was batting on 24 off 25 balls.
