SC Panel slams Reddy Brothers from Bellary for doing Illegal Mining

Hyderabad: Breaking News! The Reddy brothers from Bellary, who created a political storm in Karnataka earlier this month, are in a tight spot now. The Supreme Court has said that their companies are involved in illegal mining in the area on Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border. The report was given by the apex court's Central Empowered Committee (CEC).

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah has already said that he will ask for a CBI probe to expose the Reddy brothers. According to the SC panel, Karnataka Tourism Minister G Janardhan Reddy's company, Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) was carrying out illegal mining of iron ore.

The SC panel also slammed the previous Andhra Pradesh government for allowing Reddy brothers to do illegal mining. The Bellary brothers, who created huge trouble for Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa, are said to have good relations with late YSR's son, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, which was denied by the later.
