Rumpa Roy becomes "Lux Perfect Bride", gets married to Hitesh Chauhan
Mumbai: Breaking News! In a surprising, but anticipated development, Rumpa Roy became the first-ever "Lux Perfect Bride" on Star Plus. Rumpa beat Priyanka Sharma, who has been the strongest contender to win this unique reality show. Also, Rumpa Roy got married to Hitesh Chauhan in a solemn ceremony in presence of their parents, friends and millions of viewers.
It is the
first-ever real wedding on a reality TV show and kudos to Star Plus and the "Lux Perfect Bride" team to make it possible.Although Rajbeer and Priyanka have been very consistent from the Day 1 and they showed strong commitment to each other, they could not convince Rajbeer's father and other family members. That went against them and people voted for Rumpa Roy. Rumpa got a cheque worth Rs 25 lakh as prize money.

e viewers did exactly the same. They chose Rumpa as the "Lux Perfect Bride" and she got married to Hitesh. It was a dream came true for Sudesh Rani Chauhan, who had a strong grip over the show from the very beginning and she also justified her confidence level.It was a heart-breaking story for Priyanka Sharma. She has been most favourite and strongest contender to become "Lux Perfect Bride". But, she lost the game in the last two weeks, after Rumpa-Hitesh took strong steps towards marriage, while she and Rajbeer could not move forward because of the hesitation on the part of Rajbeer's family.

Very unfortunate for Priyanka..Also,i feel Rumpa had made a very wrong decision by marrying that guy..He and his family does not appear to be genuine.
I am happy for Rumpa-Hitesh but feel very sorry for PRIBIR. This is a sad state of affair. When Rajbir's dad is against choosing a girl in a span of few weeks time, then why did he allow him to participate is a big question. If he has come against the father's wish then he should have married Priyanka. Now what is the guarantee that his dad will accept? What will happen to Priyanka? Atleast through wildcard entry, he should not have entered. He should have asked Priyanka also to walk out and then discussed this issue. Now he has made a mockery of marriage. Because of him Priyanka lost the title of LPB. Otherwise defintely people would have voted only for them. I request the channel personnel during the next LPB-II to ask the would-be brides and grooms to sign a contract that they will definitely get married in case they like each other. In case they do not sign then please do not allow them to enter the show. This show is to get married and like minded people should not lose out because of parents pressure. Feel extremely sad for Priyanka and her family. Could gauge the sadness in her sister and brother's face. Sorry, Priyanka be brave and I am sure if not Rajbir you will get a better groom who will be more commited to you and your family. Go ahead and be happy and think of your career now. Utter stupidity...Its not public who decided the Perfect Bride...Its money... U can very clearly understand if u watch the show properly...Pooja becoming bride of the week till she was with Hitesh and then suddenly when Pooja changed her mind and Rumpa came into the picture, Rumpa started becoming Bride of the Week...howw...???If checked, most comments posted by public in different sites very clearly has not much regards to neither Rumpa nor her groom...Then hw did she win...still she won, she won..Congrats to her...but then, how stupid can it be to give the reason for failure of Priyanka as "they couldnt marry"...They are perfect people...that they r patiently waiting for Rajbeer's father's acceptance..If they wanted, they too could have said, they will get married...Accepting smthing by force and by heart is cmpltly different..If rajbeer wants his father to accept Priyanka by heart, that is the PERFECT decision...and if Priyanka is standing with him in his decision, thats Perfect Bride...Personally, they r already winners for me by standing courageously till end..together...Only sorrow is that, if she had won the title, that would have added to her credentials for Rajbeer's father's consideration...

Very clearly Priyanka was the right contender- She was one person who never passed any bad comments about anyone else. She was totally genuine. Rumpa did bitch about various people. Surpsrising so did Gurpreet. As viewers, it is felt that Rumpa was indeed making a compromise, and so was Hitesh to win the title. No matter what the pair did not sound convincing- but then they won it! Yet the real prefect bride remains Priyanka Sharma in the hearts of all!! And the best couple Rajbir and Priyanka!!!
