Tiger Woods takes "indefinite break" from Golf to save Marriage

Los Angeles: Breaking News! Golf Superstar Tiger Woods announced an indefinite break from professional Golf, in a desperate bid to save his marriage. Tiger Woods was linked to as many as ten women and his marriage is on rocks. He reportedly got an ultimatum from his wife Elin Nordegren to choose one between Golf and Family.

"I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness", he wrote on his website.

The Professional Golf Association (PGA) has supported Tiger Woods and said that he is free to return whenever he wishes.

Tiger Woods' affairs with women came into light after his car crashed on November 27 after an alleged domestic dispute.

He was linked to New York club hostess Rachel Uchitel, Cocktail waitress Jamiee Grubbs, porn star Holly Sampson, Las Vegas club manager Kalika Moquin, model Jamie Jungers, Orlando waitress Mindy Lawton and three others.

Tiger Woods is said to be the richest sports personality in the world. He earned an estimated 118 million dollars last year in prize money and endorsements.
