Breaking News: India, the best place of being outsourced to US in various fields of jobs, has in fact created 60k jobs in US in the past five years with investment of $26.6 billion.


According to the joint study by University of Maryland, India-US World Affairs Institute and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), this is a great achievement for 239 Indian companies with investments worth $21 billion and 127 greenfield investments worth $5.5 billion between 2004 and 2009.


The report says the top three destination states for greenfield investments are Minnesota, Virginia and Texas and the top three states in terms of jobs created are Ohio, Texas, and California in USA in the sector of IT & IT enabled services, biotech, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, automotive and telecom - 83 percent of total deal value .


Particularly, Indian companies through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) had selected their destination for the investments in five states including Georgia, New Jersey, Michigan, California, and Texas.
