Nagpur: Breaking News! In a shocking development, Indian skipper MS Dhoni has been banned for 2 ODIs for slow over rate in Nagpur ODI. The decision was taken by match referee Jeff Crowe. Dhoni won't be able to play in the next two ODIs in Cuttack and Kolkata.

The second ODI in Nagpur ended 45 minutes after the scheduled finish time because of the frequent discussions between the Indian players. The match referee held skipper Dhoni responsible for the "intentional" delay.

Since Dhoni won't be playing in the next 2 ODIs, Gautam Gambhir or Virender Sehwag may act as the stand-by skipper. Dhoni will be available for the final ODI in Delhi.

That's unfair. Sri-lankan captain was also found two overs short in the MohaliT20 but was just fined. He was rescued from the ban.So, why Dhoni?????

That's very unfair. Sri-lankan captain also caused few overs short in the Nagpur T20 and was just fined. He was rescued from the ban. So, why Dhoni has got such a strict punishment.

No doubt ,eniire indian team must be band , if one can read their lips immediatly after taking a wicket.one cant enjoy cricket with your kids (live telecast)when it comes to deceplin ,indian side is in the bottom of the table.it is good to be aggressive in sports, but not indian cricketers style.

Why is it unfair? its a perfectly fair decision which adheres to the rules of the game...Dhoni caused a slow over rate, and so has to pay the price...nothing unfair about the decision at all.
