Breaking News! Even as India stare at a 4-0 whiteash in Australia and heading for the 8th straight overseas Test defeat, Ravichandran Ashwin tried to put up a volt face, saying the team is disappointed, but not embarrassed because of their performance.

Ashwin shocked the nation, when he said that the team did their best on the field. Even a kid knows it was not true. The team faltered on all wickets - batting and bowling. They never looked a strong unit.

Senior players Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar let down the nation, while bowlers failed to live up to the expectations too. Overall, it was a dismal show by the India for which they should tender a public apology.

The players should not forget that they have become millionaires just because the cricket fans in India consider them demi-gods of "cricket" - a religion in India. Ashwin boasted of better performance in ODI, but forgot that Test Cricket determines the quality of a player.
