Cricket Desk: After losing five matches in a row in IPL 5, Deccan Chargers finally opened their account, thanks to Rain and thunderstorm, which forced abandonment of the match against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Not a single ball could be bowled in this match, as the umpires kept inspecting the pitch conditions on a regular basis. Finally, at 10:30 PM, they had no option but to call off the match.

Both teams shared the points by the virtue of this abandonment. It was a big setback for KKR, as they wanted to win this match in front of the home crowd to boost their chances for a position in the last four.
