Cricket Desk: India slipped further in the ICC Test Rankings, while England secured the top spot. Australia pushed India to fourth spot and finished third behind South Africa, which held the second spot. Â England leads the Test Championship table with 116 points. South Africa have also 116 points, but they are behind England by fraction of a point. Â After winning the Test Series against the West Indies 2-0, Australia won one rating point, which pushed them up to the third position. They have 112 points now, while India have 111. Â West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul regained the No. 1 rankings as the Test Batsman in the ICC Rankings. In bowling, Dale Steyn continues to hold his No. 1 position ahead of Saeed Ajmal (Pakistan) and James Anderson (England). |
