Cricket Desk: Despite posting a mammoth total on board, Deccan Chargers failed to stop the Delhi Daredevils and got a 9-wicket thrashing. Delhi went to the top of the IPL 5 points table with this win. David Warner, who was playing his second IPL game this season, hit a magnificent century.

Earlier, Deccan Chargers posted 187/4 in 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan was the top scorer with 84 off 49 balls with 9 boundaries and 5 sixes. Cameron White scored 65 off 40 balls. Varun Aaron took two wickets.

Chasing a victory target of 188, Delhi Daredevils lost Virender Sehwag off the second ball of the innings. That was the only joy for Deccan Chargers, as David Warner and Naman Ojha prevented any further loss and added a record unbeaten 189-run partnership for the second wicket.

Delhi Daredevils reached 193/1 in 16.4 overs and won the match by 9 wickets. David Warner remained unbeaten on 109 off 54 balls with 10 boundaries and 7 sixes. Naman Ojha remained unbeaten on 64 off 46 balls. Warner was declared 'Man of the Match'.
