Cricket Desk: Leg Spinner Rahul Sharma, who was detained at a rave party in Mumbai last night, has pleaded innocence and vowed to quit cricket if he is found positive for drugs.

Rahul Sharma and South African player Wayne Parnell, who play for Pune Warriors India, were present at the rave party, but denied any wrongdoings. Rahul clarified that he never took any drugs.

Their blood and urine samples were taken by the police for medical examination. Things will be clear once the test results are out. Rahul, whose father is a sub inspector in Punjab Police, said he was just there to attend a friend's birthday party and had no idea about the rave party.

Rahul further revealed that he does not even take alcohol. He said he always focused on cricket and not on other things.
