Cricket Desk: MS Dhoni, the 'Destiny's Child' yet again proved his worth, as he took his team Chennai Super Kings to the semifinals of the IPL 5. CSK will meet Delhi Daredevils in the Qualifier 2.

The Mumbai Indians had to pay a price for their inconsistency in this tournament. They crashed out following a 38-run loss to the Chennai Super Kings in the eliminator.

Earlier, Mumbai won the toss and elected to field first. Despite losing two wickets for just one run on the board, the CSK bounced back to post 187/5 in 20 overs. Mike Hussey scored 49, while Badrinath made 47. Dhoni remained unbeaten on 51 off 20 balls. Dwayne Bravo too remained not out on 33. Dhawal Kulkarni took three wickets.

Chasing a victory target of 188, Mumbai Indians started well, but lost the plot after the unfortunate run out of Tendulkar. They finally ended up at 149/9 in 20 overs and lost by 38 runs.

Dwayne Smith scored 38. Albie Morkel and Dwayne Bravo took two wickets each. Dhoni was declared 'Man of the Match'.
