News Desk: US national Zohal Hamid, who was allegedly molested by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Luke Pomersbach, has decided to withdraw the case against the Australian cricketer.
Hamid's lawyer confirmed that both the victim and the director of RCB Sidhartha Mallya have reached a settlement in this matter out of court.
Junior Vijay Mallya tweeted last on Wednesday night, "So glad that all charges have been dropped and Luke can return down under A FREE MAN!"
Hamid's lawyers will soon move the Delhi High Court seeking withdrawal of the case registered against Luke, who is now out of jail on bail. The victim will also not file a defamation case against team owner Siddhartha Mallya, who had questioned her character through twitter after she complained against Luke in molestation case.
Luke was arrested on last Friday for allegedly molesting and beating up her fiance Sahil at a five-star hotel in Delhi on Thursday night. Other RCB players like KP Appanna, along with the coach and manager of the IPL franchise had also been questioned by the Delhi Police after Hamid had complained that she was being threatened to withdraw her complaint.
