Breaking News! The BCCI has banned five domestic cricketers in India, who were caught in an sting operation during the IPL 5. The players had claimed that they were involved in spot fixing.

The three-member disciplinary committee of the BCCI, including BCCI President N Srinivasan and Vice Presidents Arun Jaitley and Niranjan Shah recommended the ban after going through all aspects of allegations made against the cricketers.

Cricketer TP Sudhindra has been banned for life. Shalabh Srivastava was banned for five years, while Mohnish Mishra, Amit Yadav and Abhinav Bali were banned for one year each.

Medium pacer TP Sudhindra, who played for Madhya Pradesh, was the highest wicket-taker in Ranji trophy last season. He became the third Indian cricketer after Mohammad Azharuddin and Ajay Sharma to be banned for life by the BCCI.
