New Delhi: Breaking News! IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi has created a controversy, by listing the names of the shareholders of IPL Kochi team on Twitter. IPL Kochi has strong exception to this and may even complain to BCCI against Modi.
Modi wrote on Twitter that "Kochi shareholders are: Rendezvous 25% free, Rendezvous 1%, Anchor 27%, Parinee 26%, Film Waves Combine 12%, Anand Shyam 8%, Vivek Venugopal 1%".
He also revealed the names of Rendezvous free equity - held by Kisan, Shailender and Pushpa Gaikwad, Sunanda Pushkar, Puja Gulathi, Jayant Kotalwar, Vishnu Prasad, Sundip Agarwal.
Sunanda Pushkar, one of the free equity holders has been linked to Union Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor. She is Tharoor's good friend, it has been reported.
Modi created storm by tweeting that he was asked by someone to not get into details of one Sunanda Pushkar who owns at least 18 per cent of Rendezvous. He was obviously referring to an influential person. |
