News Desk: Breaking News! A leading Australian Daily claimed that a leading batsman was involved in match-fixing in IPL 2010. According to the newspaper, the batsman manipulated a number of matches.

The Australian quoted an unidentified IPL official to claim that the batsman had to be moved up the order in order to disallow him from fixing the matches.

However, the BCCI has strongly reacted to the latest development, saying the IPL was free of any sort of match-fixing and no such incidents took place.

The Australian also claimed that two IPL officials from India verified the news, although they did not wish to be named.
