Nagpur: Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar stood firm to score his 46th test hundred, as India struggles to save Nagpur test. Sachin batted with great patience and strong resolve, even as his teammates disappointed yet again. But he fell just after scoring the hundred. It was Sachin's 4th test hundred against South Africa.

Resuming from the overnight score of 66/2 after follow-on, India lost Murali Vijay and Badrinath before lunch break today. Vijay made 32. India were 122/4 at one stage.

Sachin Tendulkar and skipper MS Dhoni are trying hard to avoid an innings defeat and save the test match, which looks quite impossible at this juncture. India were 192/5, when reports last came in. They still need 133 runs to force South Africa to bat again.

Sachin Tendukar was out for 100, while Dhoni was on 14. South Africa had declared their first innings at 558/6. India bowled out for just 233 in the first innings and had to bat again. Dale Steyn took 7 wickets in the first innings.
