News Desk: The decomposed body of the small-time Bollywood actress Minakshi Thapa, was recovered from a water tank in Allahabad today. The severed head of the actress is not yet traced.

 

The police arrested two junior artists Amit Kumar Jaiswal (36) and Preeti Surin (26) from Bandra in Mumbai, who killed Minakshi for ransom.

 

The duo, who were close to Minakshi, a Nepalese national, killed her after her family could transfer just Rs 60,000 as against the original ransom demand of Rs 15 lakh. Minakshi was missing for the last one month.

 

Both accused hail from Allahabad. They met Minakshi on the sets of "Heroine" where she played a small role. A massive hunt has been launched to trace Minakshi's head.
