Entertainment Desk: Even as Sony Tv agreed to cut 56 scenes from 'The Dirty Picture' and got the permission to telecast the movie, the Information & Broadcasting (I&B) has stalled its TV premier.

The I&B Ministry has ruled that 'The Dirty Picture' cannot be telecast on national television before 11 PM. It has directed Sony TV to telecast the movie after 11 PM only.

'The Dirty Picture' was scheduled to be telecast at 8 PM today. However, Sony has deferred it and flashed the news saying, "For unavoidable reasons, we regret to inform that the film 'The Dirty Picture' will not be telecast today. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted".
