Entertainment Desk: Aamir khan, one of the leading actors of Bollywood has ruled out the speculations about his intention to enter Rajya Sabha as a nominated or elected member.

Aamir Khan, who is well known as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ has recently aired his debut TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’. From the very first episode only the show has received wide applause from the audience.

The maiden episode of Khan’s talk show exhibited some heart-wrenching and extremely emotional interviews of some women victims (from all sections of the society) who were the prey of domestic violence.

Seeing Aamir’s inclination towards the social causes in this show it was speculated that whether the actor is interested for a seat in Rajya Sabha? But Khan has confirmed that he does not have any plan to join politics.

When asked about his intention for the RS he further said "First of all there is no such offer. I'm happy with wherever I'm today and whatever work I want to do, I'm doing that through my field and I feel that I would be able to contribute more to the society through my profession. I doubt if I would be able to do much for the society, if I go somewhere else."

We should note that recently a few celebrities like Jaya Bachchan, Rekha and Sachin Tendulkar have been nominated to the Rajya Sabha.

Whether it’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘3 idiots’, ‘Lagaan’ or RDB, Aamir has tried to convey a strong social message to the people through these films.
