Satyamev Jayate: Aamir talks about Child Sex Abuse PDF Print E-mail

Entertainment Desk: After taking the nation by storm with his movement against the female foeticide in the first episode of 'Satyamev Jayate', Aamir Khan talked about the child sex abuse in the second one.

 

Ammir worked with a number of NGOs to highlight the plights of children sexually abused at home or outside. Several victims of child abuse spoke up Aamir's show, bringing tears to the eyes of people.

 

Harish Iyer from Mumbai dared to reveal how he was sexually exploited by his male relative for years. Bollywood Actress Sridevi who joined Aamir on the show, hailed his courage to speak the truth.

 

Aamir passed the buck to the lawmakers, saying a bill on child sex abuse was introduced in the Parliament, but it is still awaiting implementation. He prepared a letter addressing the government in support of the bill.
