News Desk: An organisation for the physicians and other health professionals Medscape has slammed Bollywood actor Aamir Khan seeking an apology from him over his remarks against doctors on his TV talk show 'Satyamev Jayate'.

Medscape India said that Aamir should apology for accusing doctors of malpractices. The organisation alleged that the actor has insulted the doctors, who are committed to serve patients with honesty.

The organisation objected to the show, which highlighted the malpractices in the medical profession in last episode aired on Sunday. Earlier, the show highlighted the social issues like female foeticide and dowry system.

Aamir in last episode highlighted unethical practices, corruption and scandalous revelations in medical treatment.

Dr Sunita Dube, president of Medscape, said that Aamir Khan is her favourite actor, and he should stick to making films not highlighting such things. She is surprised to see why doctors are not opposing to the show. "Surprisingly, no doctors' body has spoken against Aamir yet. We need to stand united against such blatant lies. We are going to write a scathing letter demanding an apology from him," she said.

Medscape India alleged that the doctors are subjected to assault without any fault. People do not understand the pressure of the profession and accuse them.

Kishore Taori, president of the Maharashtra Medical Council that is associated with Medscape asked question, "Where is Aamir Khan when doctors are assaulted? Where is he when we give free treatment to the needy?"
