Entertainment Desk: Aamir Khan, who has gained much popularity for his revolutionary TV talk show ‘Satyamev Jayate’, highlighted the infrastructural problems at the offices that the differently-abled people are facing, in the sixth episode of the show.
The latest episode telecast some inspirational stories related to the differently-abled community. The show put light on the scarcity of government policies for the disabled which actually making their daily lives practically difficult.
Aamir was quite impressed to see the positive attitude and spirit of two differently-abled people to survive in the world. The guests on the show expressed their antipathy in this context. Among them while a boy named Sai told about the importance of education for them, visually impaired Krishnakanth said about the social responsibility (towards the disabled) and technology.
The best thing about the show was that it also included some people whose physical disability affect their appearance. Nisha Lobo was a girl from this category in the show.
The episode was a historic event as it told about those who have been mostly neglected, the differently-abled persons. Some people have opined that the show is all about only the urban class; it has nothing to do with the rural mass. But there are still several episodes remaining. We believe Aamir would not have left the same and show something related exceptionally to the rural mass.
Aamir Khan, whom we salute for his first ever effort of this kind, has earned huge controversy for his show ‘Satyamev Jayate'. But, it is equally true that when a fraction of the people only opposes the show, the actor-turned-social reformer is gaining much support from the mass.
